I'll fist admit I'm an idiot with this stuff. Projected first takeoff once Runway 5-23 improvements is fully completed is 12/7/17. That's 4 years from NOW! Will this runway not be fully operational until then(partially operational)? If there is significant "downtime" of each of these runways, how will Green expect to obtain 5 million passengers?

Isn't Green Airport competing with other New England airports(Manchester, Bradley, etc.) & not only Logan? From what I've read, Green will gain what Logan can't handle because Logan can't expand(that's not competing; Logan would have reached capacity).

What I would want to know is Green's cost factors. How much will Green Airport(passengers/airlines) require to fund of these improvements/expansion projects that will NOT be funded by the FAA. Green all ready has a high cost per passenger; won't these costs be passed on to passengers/airlines?

If costs are substantially higher at Green, isn't that the primary factor passengers/airlines will use in determining where to fly from/to or provide additional flights from?
