Two points. First, URI recently spent $800,000 on something called a "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Center". If URI has enough money for such a thing, it has enough money. Second, college costs will continue to skyrocket as long as government remains involved in the financial aid process, thus enabling the annual tuition hikes.
