What a huge waste of money! This project made the problem at the end of Mill Cove worse than before the project. They removed about 100 ft of road and replaced it with dirt. Then they put a drainage ditch in front of the bottom of the road. The grass will never grow there since the drainage ditch will get overgrown like it always does and you won't be able to get by the mud as a result. At least before when the water runoff from the street over ran the drainage ditch you would be walking on flooded road instead of mud. The other half of the problem was the dirt path to the beach gets flooded and this project did nothing to deal with that.
