The 12th annual Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day for Autism will take place at Goddard Park in Warwick on Sunday, April 27, sponsored by The Autism Project.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., with opening remarks and the Walk Start planned for 10 a.m.
Following the completion of the walk, all are invited to a Family Fun Day event featuring free activities for children and teens with autism and their families, including a reptile show, karaoke, obstacle course, bounce house, face painting, arts and crafts, visits from local college sports teams, cotton candy, popcorn and more. There will also be an Autism Marketplace for parents to find more information about autism and meet with staff from The Autism Project.
Event sponsors include Bailey’s Team For Autism, WPRO 630 News Talk, WPRI 12, Fox Providence, Spencer Technologies, Verizon Wireless and The UPS Store of RI & Southeastern Mass.
The event will take place rain or shine, concluding at 1 p.m.
