Crews were on the job Saturday at the site of Building C of the Westgate Condominiums in a concerted press to have the walls and roof up on the 34-unit building so that interior work can proceed during the winter months. A workman at the site said the hope had been to start earlier, but flaws in the pouring of the slap delayed the schedule. With that corrected, walls started going up about 10 days ago. Building C was severely damaged in a dramatic fire March 11 and then completely razed. Insurance is covering the cost of replacement, but tenants who weren’t insured lost their possessions.
