Adele M. (Ballard) O’Rourke, 86, a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at home. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. O’Rourke.
She was a daughter of the late Edouard F. and Margaret E. (Matthews) Ballard.
Adele was the loving mother of Michael P. O’Rourke (Donna), Catherine M. Ferraresi (Dave), Catherine M. Ferraresi (Dave), David P. O’Rourke, John E. O’Rourke (Kim), and Ellen J. O’Rourke; sister of Alice Travers, Jean Boyd and the late Edward Ballard. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and many adoring nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
