Affordable art show Dec. 5 at WMOA

An Affordable Art Show and Sale will be held on Saturday, December 5, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Warwick Museum of Art. All are invited to attend this event and experience a unique opportunity for holiday shopping while supporting local artists.

This event is organized by Patty Martucci and Courtney Rose, two Warwick artists. The sale will feature the work of 19 artists from Rhode Island and Massachusetts: Dennis Congdon, Pat Dacey, Paul Davis, Bunny Griffeth, Jennifer LadRosa Hicks, Trisha Kelley, Natalie Kiernan, Pamela Laurenzo, Linda Legge, Patty Martucci, Melonie Massa, Rozsi Moser, Lori Nero, Meredith Passey, Raven Ray, Carlyle Rose, Courtney Rose, Caroline Stjarnborg and Peter Sykes.

The Art Show and Sale will feature paintings, drawings, photographs, jewelry, accessories, prints, ornaments, greeting cards, gifts for children and pets and more. The most expensive piece of art will sell for $50. Cash, checks and VISA will be accepted.

Warwick Museum of Art is located at 3259 Post Road in Historic Apponaug. The museum is handicapped accessible and parking is free behind the museum near Warwick City Hall and St. Barnabas Church. Light refreshments will be served.
