Alda P. (Rossi) Spirito, 92 died Sunday December 18, 2016. She had been married for 62 years to the late Domenic P. Spirito who was the Co-Owner of Spirito Sewing Center.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Nicola and Angelina (Iacovino) Rossi. She resided in Warwick for 60 years before moving to East Greenwich in 2012. Her family and her faith were the most important things in her life. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to garden and cook for her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna M. Cimini and her husband, Donald J. of Warwick, Nancy A. Virgulak and her husband, Christopher F. of Cincinnati, OH and her grandson, Matthew D. Cimini and his wife, Alisa of Johnston. She was the sister of Lee Pagliaro of Johnston, Carmino Rossi of Cranston and the late Dorata Amaral. She also leaves her sister-in-laws, Angela Spirito of Cranston and Lucille Kalnietis of Warwick.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016, 8-9:30 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
