Aldrich talent unmasked tonight

Aldrich students, with some encouragement from several members of the faculty, will stage a talent show tonight starting at 6:30 at the school. Team Barracudas, as the school is known, is staging the fundraiser to benefit school field trips and activities. But, as evidenced at yesterday’s rehearsals, the show is already raising school spirits and empathy for those who find it difficult to face an audience. One young performer was lost for words when she found herself at the microphone, but her peers encouraged her and after a pause returned to the stage. Guidance counselors Rich Clark, Linda Goffe and James Naughton and school resource officer Nelson Carreiro will serve as judges. And while they are doing their work, Ethan Thayer and “The Security Cats Band” will entertain.
