Anne V. (Vileno) Nolan, age 84, of Puritan Drive, Warwick, died on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Barattini) Vileno, she lived in Warwick since 1961. A 1948 graduate of St. Mary of the Visitation High School in Providence, she received her bachelors degree from Rhode Island College of Education in 1952, and earned her masters degree in education from the University of Connecticut.

Mrs. Nolan was a highly respected teacher in the Warwick Public Schools for 35 years, retiring from Christopher Rhodes School in 1989. After her retirement, she was a passionate volunteer and GED instructor for many years at the House of Hope. She was an active parishioner and committee member at St. William Church, a member of the Red Hat Society and Delta Kappa Gamma. She dedicated her life to helping others through her organizational work and volunteerism in her local community.

She is survived by a daughter, Meredith A. Andreozzi and her husband, Curt of Cranston, a son, David A. Nolan of Warwick; two beloved grandchildren, Nicholas G. and Christina R. Andreozzi; five sisters, M. Elizabeth Rollinson of Pomfret, Connecticut, Barbara Sullivan of Hope Valley, Nancy Vileno of Warwick, Gerrie Bastia of Warwick, and Patricia Costantino of Sun City, Florida; a brother, John Vileno of Sutton, Massachusetts; and several cherished nieces and nephews. She was the Godmother of Cynthia Vileno, Mark Rollinson, and Susan Valletta. She was the sister of the late Lucy Simpson, Nita Costantino, Catherine Corrente, and Joseph Vileno; and the former wife of the late George D. Nolan.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 29, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. William Church, 200 Pettaconsett Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
