Antonetta (Salvaggio) Caromile, age 92, of Roma Street, Bristol, died November 10, 2012 at the Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Louis Caromile.
Born in Bristol, and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Jacquim "Jack " and Emily (Cirillo) Salvaggio. Antonetta was a homemaker and a hairdresser. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and Antonetta also loved cooking for her family.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Joseph Caromile and his wife, Laura of Warwick and her daughter, Lou Ann Cortellessa and her husband, Domenic of Bristol; her grandchildren, Michael J., Stephen L., Jonathan E., Bethany L. Caromile and Robert Cortellessa; her great-grandchildren, Presley M. and Vincent M. Cortellessa and a brother, Alphonse Salvaggio of Bristol. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Salvaggio.
Funeral services were held from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, November 14, 2012 with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery Chestnut Street, Bristol.
