Tyler Marr named to dean’s list

Tyler Marr of Warwick has recently been named to the dean’s list for spring 2016 at the University of Hartford.

Two local students named

to president’s list

Western New England University recently named two Warwick residents to the president’s list for the spring 2016 semester. Their names are Jason Byrd, who majored in electrical engineering with a computer concentration, and Lexi-Amber Hassel, who majored in neuroscience.

Sean Masterson named

to dean’s list

Sean W. Masterson, a SUNY Canton eergency mnagement major from Warwick, made the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. Masterson is a 2012 graduate of Pilgrim High School.

Residents receive degrees

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) held the graduate students’ ceremony on Thursday, May 12, awarding graduate degrees to two Warwick residents. Bryan Fryc was awarded a master’s of business administration degree, and Zachary Blanchard was awarded a master’s of science degree in fire protection engineering.

Local students named to dean’s list

Springfield College has named the following Warwick students to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 term: Amanda LaCroix, who studies applied exercise science; Adriana DiGiuseppe, who studies communication sciences and disorders; Jordan Karnes, who studies communications/sport journalism; Gillian Hamilton, who studies health science/occupational therapy; and Mikayla Rogers, who studies health science/pre-physical therapy.

Local students graduate

The following Warwick residents recently graduated from Springfield College: Adriana DiGiuseppe, who has earned a B.S. degree in communication sciences and disorders; Devin Hurst, who has earned a B.A. degree in communication/sport journalism; Jordan Karnes, who has earned a B.A. degree in communication/sport journalism; Lauren Peladeau, who has earned a B.S. degree in health science and pre-physical therapy; Nicole Authelet, who has earned a B.S. degree in health science/pre-physician assistant; and Joao Vasconcelos, who has earned a master’s degree in social work.

Kristina Canton receives honors

The University of Rhode Island chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta History national honor society recently inducted 12 new members into the society, including Kristina Canton of Warwick.

Local students named to dean’s list

Dean College recently named three Warwick students to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. They are: Danielle Colonair, Jeffrey Werner, and Peter Mozzoni.

Local students named to dean’s list

The following local residents have been named to the spring 2016 dean’s list at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass: Lauren P. Almonte, a member of the class of 2018, who majored in English; and Jordan L. Gray, a member of the class of 2016, who majored in interdisciplinary studies.

Timothy Desmarais graduates

Timothy E. Desmarais of Warwick was one of more than 900 degree recipients at The University of Scranton’s undergraduate commencement, which was held May 29 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre. Timothy earned a BS degree in nursing.

Ashlee Rapoza named to dean’s list

Dean College announced that Ashlee Rapoza from Warwick was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester.

Brent Wheeler Parker

receives degree

Brent Wheeler Parker of Warwick graduated from Clemson University on May 7, 2016, with a B.A. degree in history at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

Local students receive degrees

The following Warwick students graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the commencement ceremony held Saturday, May 21, 2016, in Durham, N.H.: Miranda Coleman, who earned a B.S. degree in neuroscience & behavior; Shannon Wesson, who earned a B.S. degree in wildlife and conservation biology; and Tiffany Leggare, who earned a B.A. degree in English cum laude.

Three Warwick students were recently named to the dean’s list at the University of Vermont. They are: Hunter Heberg, who is an undeclared major, Hayley Pomerantz, who is a psychology major, and Dakota DelSignore, who is a civil engineering major.

The following local residents were among 1,292 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring 2016 semester: Daniel Kim, who is a member of the class of 2019 and majoring in computer science; and Christopher Bianco, who is a member of the class of 2018 and majoring in interactive media and game development, and computer science.

Assumption College has recently named Jacqueline and Geoffrey LaForce, Warwick residents and members of the class of 2016, to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester.
