Avedisian reelected secretary of Ocean State Charities Trust

Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian has been re-elected as the secretary of Ocean States Charities Trust, a public foundation with its headquarters at The Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket.

Helen Marandola of Narragansett was re-elected chairman, and John J. Partridge, Esq. of Providence was re-elected treasurer.  

Avedisian, who was first appointed as a trustee of Ocean State Charities in 1995, has also been the honorary chairman, vice chairman and grant distribution chairman for the Episcopal Charities Fund of Rhode Island.

Ocean State Charities Trust is a public foundation that has awarded more than $9 million in awards since its inception. In addition to Avedisian, Marandola and Partridge, the other two trustees are Mark Russell of Warwick and Jonathan Farnum of Coventry.
