More than 200 new backpacks were collected at a donation drive held at the 2015 RI Realtors Conference and Expo at the New England Institute of Technology recently. The collection was held in cooperation with Family Service of Rhode Island, one of the oldest and largest non-profit human service agencies in the state, serving approximately 9,000 children and adults each year. Family Service of Rhode Island will disseminate the backpacks to a variety of programs that aid school age children. Pictured from left are Philip Tedesco, CEO, RI Association of REALTORS; Julie Casimiro, Director of Development, Family Service of Rhode Island; Bruce Lane, president RI Association of REALTORS and Mindy Lane, chair, RI Realtors Conference and Expo.
