Barbara A. Gardiner, 78, of Partition St., passed away at Kent Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was a daughter of the late Elsie B. Gardiner.
Barbara was a ward secretary at The Miriam Hospital for over 32 years before retiring.
She was the mother of Stephen M. Gardiner, Sr. and his companion, Christina M. Braga; and the grandmother of Stephen M. Gardiner Jr. and his companion, Jennifer Hency, all of Warwick. Barbara was the sister of the late Virginia Reels and Edward Gardiner.
Visitation will be Friday morning, March 11, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Sts.
