Barbara A. (Rollinson) Connors, age 79, of Gristmill Road, Warwick, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. She was the wife of the late Joseph V. Connors.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Robert T. Rollinson and Anna (McInerney) Rollinson, she lived in Warwick for most of her life. Barbara was employed in the RI School Lunch Program for 20 years. She was a parishioner of St. Benedict Church in Warwick. She devoted her life to her family.

She is survived by two daughters and three sons: Lynn T. Floskis and her husband, Michael, of Bloomfield, NJ, Joseph M. Connors and his wife, Linda, of North Providence, Steven P. Connors and his wife, Lori, of Wakefield, Judith F. Nadeau of Warwick, and John T. Connors and his wife, Sandra, of Johnston. She was the grandmother of Gillienne, Kristen Joe, Jessica, Mary-Elizabeth, Caitlin and her husband, Nick, Joseph II (Jay) and his wife, Raquel, Matthew, Erin, Sara, Kevin, Jacob, and Haley; and the great-grandmother of Chase, Benjamin, Ezra, Adalyn Joe, and the late Cheyenne. Barbara is also survived by a sister, Norma Harris of Cranston, and a brother, Robert Rollinson and his wife, Shirley, of Longs, SC.

The family would like to thank the Warwick Fire and Police Departments for their compassion and professionalism.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 2, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict Church, 135 Beach Avenue, Warwick. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
