Barbara Doell passed away on October 19 at Shady Acres Nursing Home in Exeter, RI. She was the beloved wife of Robert Doell.
Born in Dixon, Illinois on October 12, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick B. and Roberta Ruth (Phillips) Battle. Barbara graduated from Connecticut College For Women and worked as an office manager for a dental practice. Barbara also founded her own wedding consulting business for destination wedding “An Affair To Remember” in Newport, RI.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Diane Healey.
Her Funeral Service will be at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 99 Peirce St., East Greenwich at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 4, followed by a short prayer service at the niche in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, 6365 Post Rd., North Kingstown. All are welcome to attend.
