Beatrice Ida (Walker) Clemishaw-Mezafer, 70, passed away on December 6 in Pembroke Pines, FL.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Christopher E. and Virginia R. (Ferguson) Walker. Prior to moving to Florida, she resided in Seekonk, MA. Beatrice retired in September from C.W. Flanagan High School, Pembroke Pines, where she worked as a culinary assistant. She enjoyed baking cakes, yard sales, flea markets, spending time with her friends, family and her two cats, Mister and Kmart.

She was the mother of Walter E. Clemishaw, of Anderson, SC, Ann Marie Spaziano, of Warwick, RI, Thomas J. Clemishaw, of Miramar, FL, Suzanne Mouzaffar, of Sunrise, FL and the late Christopher E, Clemishaw, of Anderson, SC. She was the sister of Christine Akroyd, of Warwick, RI, Joseph (Teddy) Walker, of Coventry, RI, Donna Walker, of Providence, RI, John Walker, of Providence, RI and the late Edith Greene, of Warwick, RI and Marilyn Walker, of Providence. Beatrice is survived by twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Her last wish is a final ride on an airboat to have her ashes scattered in the Everglades in Florida.
