To the Editor:

I want to personally congratulate Mayor Scott Avedisian for not signing the “Resolution of No Confidence in Administrators of the Warwick School Department” sponsored by Councilwomen Vella-Wilkinson, Travis and Usler.

In my opinion, it was uncalled for, detrimental to our students’ education and the hard-earned reputation of the Warwick School Department.

My thanks and appreciation to Mayor Avedisian and the three councilmen who refused to sign it, Merolla, Solomon and Colantuono.

Eugene A. Nadeau

Vice Chairman Warwick School Committee

Mr. Nadeau, This just in: the reputation of the Warwick School Dept. is at an all-time low. And something tells me that the bizarre practice of drawing a penis on students' arms, with no apparent consequence, is far more detrimental to "students' education" than a resolution that students don't even know exists. While I applaud the fine work of many hard-working educators in the city, I can assure you that no one is moving to Warwick for the purpose of sending their children to the Warwick public schools. And that, Mr. Nadeau, is on you.

Very true John Stark. What has Mr. Nadeau done with his two terms in office? lets count them 1) Cut student programs 2) spend money on consultants because he did not hire the right people. Mr. Neadeu has spent close to a million dollars on buying out Superintendents contracts, School closings, Rogosta investigation, Attorney Andrew Heinous hired to come to an agreement on a new teachers contract and other useless things. Jean Nadeau what have you done for the students of this city? Nothing
