Beth (Kirschner) Campbell, age, 74, died December 15, at home in Smithfield, R.I. from complications of ALS.

Formerly of Warwick, Beth was the daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy Kirschner and wife of the late Edgar Campbell. Beth was a lifelong member of Woodbury Union Church, Presbyterian and had served in various capacities in the church over the years. She worked for 7 years at the former Warwick Press after graduation from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School before joining the Providence Journal Classified Department from which she retired in 2001after 35 years of service.

She will be sadly missed by her family; her brother, Brian and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kirschner of North Carolina, nieces Mary Kirschner of Pennsylvania, and Charlotte Kirschner and her husband, Richard Lease of Ohio, nephew Christopher Friskey of Texas; three great-nephews and a great-niece; her step-daughter, and Claire Crecelius, her son-in-law, Robert Crecelius; and granddaughter, Keri Murphy, all of Warwick.

Her funeral service will be held at Woodbury Union Church, 58 Beach Avenue, Warwick 02889 on January 6, at 11 a.m. Calling hours are at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, before the funeral service, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick on January 6, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. A collation will be provided at the church immediately after the funeral. Burial will be at Pawtuxet Memorial Park at 2 p.m.
