Beverly J. “Bev” (Millard) Pray, age 83, of Lydick Avenue, Warwick, died at home on Friday, December 11, 2015. She was the wife of the late Ronald E. Pray.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Louise J. (Oeser) Millard, she lived in Warwick for 53 years. Mrs. Pray was employed as a waitress at the Newport Creamery at the Governor Francis Shopping Plaza in Warwick for 40 years before retiring.
She is survived by a son, Bruce M. Pray of Cranston, a daughter, Jody E. Rickey of Warwick; a sister, June Johnston of North Port, Long Island, NY; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Amy Rickey; and the sister of the late Audrey M. Partridge and Carolyn Bowden.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, December 17, from 5-8 p.m., in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick.
