Beverly Ruth (Miller) D’Arcangelo

Beverly Ruth (Miller) D’Arcangelo of Tarpon Springs, Florida and Providence RI, died in her sleep on November 14. She was 84 years old.

Beverly was born in Milford, Mass. on December 14, 1931 to Ira Gibson Miller and Frances Myrtle (Griffith) Miller. She attended Milford High School, graduating in 1949, after being named Most Musically Inclined. Beverly was the Office Manager for ENT Associates in Providence for many years, and she was an active community volunteer. She formerly lived in Lincoln and East Greenwich RI.

Twelve years ago, Beverly moved to Tarpon Springs, where she lived very happily next door to her sisters Iris Peasley and Barbara Walsh. She was involved in the Tarpon Shores community and participated in the social club. She was an avid card player, traveler, and show attendee. She loved living in Florida. Beverly had a wonderful sense of humor and an ebullient laugh that filled a room. She loved to sing. She was a perennial optimist with a flair for frugality. Beverly loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was a devoted friend to many.

She was predeceased by her brother Gordon Ira Miller and survived by her sister, Iris Verna (Miller) Peasley, daughters Carolann D’Arcangelo and Elizabeth Motta and her husband, Stephen Wade Shaw. She was Nan to Julie Marie (Motta) Taylor and her husband, Luke Edmund Taylor, and G.G. to Jack Edmund Taylor and Eli Tome Taylor.

Interment was held at the North Purchase Street Cemetery in Milford Mass on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at noon.
