Café Socrates that offers a democratic and uncensored discussion of current issues will meet Monday, Jan. 14 to discuss the question: Would a third political party ease the deadlock in our two-party system?
Future topics to be discussed include: What will the end of the U.S. empire look like? Which subjects should be taught in public schools? Are women the weaker sex?
Café Socrates meets bi-weekly on Mondays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. starting Jan. 14 through May 20 at the Warwick Public Library.
Register online at warwicklibrary.org or call 739-5440, x4. For more information, call 739-5440, x221. The Library is located at 600 Sandy Lane.
This event is free and open to all.

Nice that the retired folks have this opportunity. Too bad working people can't have a similar forum. I sense a costly discrimination lawsuit against the Library. Debate that next time, if you still have a building.
