Carol H. Ahlborg, 84, of Warwick and Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 with her family by her side at Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown. She was the devoted wife for 53 years of Richard W. Ahlborg.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pusey & Anna Heald. She was a graduate of URI and a member of Delta Zeta sorority. Carol worked for the Providence Chamber of Commerce and was a customer service representative for Eastern Airlines.

Carol enjoyed boating, golfing, skiing, Oriental rug making and needlework. She especially loved being with family. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, East Greenwich. She was a very active volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Warwick. Carol was also a member of Potowomut Golf Club, Pelican Nest Golf Club, FL, and Club at Barefoot Beach, FL. She was a past member of Dunes Club and East Greenwich Yacht Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Craig W. Ahlborg (Tina) of North Kingstown, her daughter, Nancy A. Greim (John, Jr.) of Warwick, her stepsons, Glenn R. and Eric S. Ahlborg both of Warwick; she was the loving grandmother of Haley and Andrew Ahlborg, Alexey and Kristina Greim and step-grandmother of nine; she is also survived by her sister Suzanne Meegan of Warwick.

Her funeral service and burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown, will be private.
