Carolyn F. (Jennings) Palumbo

Carolyn F. (Jennings) Palumbo, RN, 67, of Warwick, passed away on November 2, 2015 at home. She was the beloved wife of George Edward “Teddy” Palumbo for 46 years.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John F. Jennings and Marie (Clark) McFarlane. Mrs. Palumbo was a registered nurse for Rhode Island Hospital until her illness. She was a graduate of CCRI, class of 1988. Carolyn enjoyed camping. She and her family spent summers at Circle C Campground in Voluntown, Connecticut.

She was the loving mother of Kalene M. Palumbo and Kerin L. Palumbo LeBlanc and her husband, Adam LeBlanc, all of Warwick. She was the devoted grandmother of Mason, Andrew and Abigail; caring sister-in-law of Robert Palumbo of Cranston; and cherished cousin of Judith Vieira of Largo, Florida. She is also survived by her dear friends, Linda Barberry and Patricia Kelley, both of Warwick; and her pets, Simba, Gizmo and Chuoie.

Carolyn’s family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to her doctors, nurses and caregivers for their kindness and love.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Monday, Nov. 9 from 11-12 noon, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon in Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick. Burial in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
