Okay, we’re finally here, at the height of The Beatles’ creativity. Some argue that the Fab Four’s best album is “Revolver.” Others hold out for “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” Either way, the stretch between “Revolver” and “Sgt. Pepper” was The Beatles’ most fertile period of music-making and where their masterpieces come from.
Librarian Wil Gregersen is planning a celebration of 50 years of “Revolver” at the Warwick Public Library on Thursday, August 25 at 7 p.m. Hear how the album fits with their 1966-67 recordings, listen to the entire album, and talk about what the music says to you.
For more information call 739-5440 x221. The library is located at 600 Sandy Lane. This event is free and open to all.
