Chilly vigil
|
Hoxsie School crossing guard Joanann LaBrie braved yesterday’s frigid weather without a hat although she was sure to wear long johns, comfy mittens and her collar up. The post was lonely as all but a couple of parents drove their kids to school. However, she was remembered. One thoughtful motorist thought to deliver her a hot chocolate. LaBrie was been a crossing guard since 1988 and loves the job. (Warwick Beacon photo)
