Christine Ann Borrelli and Nathan Clinton Matson were united in marriage April 20, 2013 by Monsignor Richard Sheahan at Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. The organist was Mark Colozzi. A reception was held at the Officers Club, Newport Navy Base.

The bride is the daughter of Donald and Mary Ann Borrelli of Cranston. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College and earned her master’s degree from Providence College. She is a mathematics teacher for Cranston Public Schools.

The groom is the son of Clinton and Leila Matson of Marion, S.D. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a master’s degree from Naval Postgraduate School. He is an engineer with General Dynamics.

Brittany McQuaig was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Alyssa Alvarado, Beth Bishop, Phaedra Grande, Jamie Potvin, Christina Reinhard, Ashley Serls and Erica Vincent.

Groomsmen were Jeff Tiner-Matson, brother of the groom, Jeff Borrelli, brother of the bride, Kevin Borrelli, brother of the bride, Eric Borrelli, brother of the bride, John Dirk, Erin Kellogg and Andy Winberry. Ben Obi Matson and Teddy Watson, nephews of the groom, were the ring bearers.

The couple resides in Lincoln.
