An Indian classical music performance with sitarist Srinivas Reddy will be held at the Warwick Public Library Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.
Srinivas Reddy and Ajit Acharya will play a selection of ragas on sitar and tabla. Srinivas returns to the U.S. for this exclusive Warwick performance. Trained in the traditional guru-shishya style, Srinivas is a student of guru Sri Partha Chatterjee, a direct disciple of the late sitar maestro Pandit Nikhil Banerjee.Srinivas is an assistant professor of South and Southeast Asian Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar in Ahmedabad, India. His hometown is Barrington, R.I.
