Clifford C.W. “Cliff” George, Sr., age 76, of Warwick, died on November 29, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Shirley A. (O’Dowd) George.
Born in Providence, the son of the late Chester Wiklund and Medora (Chartier) George, and the adopted son of the late Guido E. George, he lived in Warwick for over 50 years. Mr. George was a service technician with Sears Roebuck & Co in Providence for 35 years before retiring in 1998. He was also an electrician, and the owner and operator of George’s Electric in Warwick. He served with the RI Army National Guard.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Clifford C. George, Jr. of Warwick, a daughter, Pamela A. Jensen of Bristol; and two grandchildren, Kyle M. Jensen and Jessica M. Jensen of Bristol.
