Get ready to treat yourself, ladies!

Confreda Greenhouses & Farms is once again hosting its annual Ladies Night Out in support of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence (RICADV). Join in for a night filled with fun, prizes and free samples on July 24 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A $20 donation will be collected at the door, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the coalition.

RICADV is a leader in the fight against domestic violence, working tirelessly to extend the reach of member agencies.

Striving for a world in which domestic violence does not exist, RICADV extends its support to rural, suburban and urban areas throughout Rhode Island in order to educate the next generation about domestic violence issues.

“Domestic violence is not just a women’s issue – it affects our whole society. We at Confreda’s are happy to support the RICADV in its work to end this problem,” said Ray Aubin, GM of Confreda Farms.

At the event, ladies can relax while enjoying complimentary pampering treatments, a wine tasting and samples from an array of food. The first 50 Ladies Night Out attendees will receive a special swag bag at the door, and there will be plenty of other door prizes all evening long.

Confreda’s is very excited to announce the vendors who have agreed to donate their time, services and products to help put an end to domestic violence: Bacaro Restaurant, Confreda’s Bakery and Cafe, Newport Vineyards, Greenvale Vineyards, Boar’s Head, April Amiot, Young Living Essential Oils, Becky Nero, Ava Andersen, Deb Duplessie of Mary Kay, 10,000 Villages and Mod Mama.

“We are excited to be the beneficiary of this annual event. It’s a wonderful evening for friends to enjoy the farm, sample a variety of vendors’ goods and benefit a great cause,” said Deb Debare, executive director of RICADV.

The coalition helps over 10,000 victims of domestic violence every year, and support from events like this enable them to continue their advocacy and outreach efforts statewide.

Confreda Farms is located at 2150 Scituate Ave. For more information on Confreda Farms, visit www.confredas.com.
