County Cork Irish Pub Sunday Night is ‘Irish Night’ for live entertainment

She is the perfect Irish lass - from her brilliant smile and generous hospitality, to the ring of her authentic Irish brogue. "Cora from the great county of Cork" has brought her genuine Irish sensibility to her newly opened, aptly-named pub, County Cork Irish Pub. This cozy bar and restaurant in Warwick boasts of an elegant, fully-stocked bar, picnic-stlye seating overlooking the marina, a "Dinghy Dock" to tie up to, hearty pub fare, and mostly, the BEST live entertainment this side of the Atlantic! There is no reason not to spend an evening or two here at this best-kept secret, County Cork Irish Pub.

County Cork Irish Pub is the true love of Cora who left the verdant hills of Ireland eight years ago to settle here with her husband Patrick. They fell in love with this breathtaking location on Warwick Cove and have transformed what was once the home of "Oma & Opa's" breakfast nook into this warm, inviting and welcoming watering hole.

County Cork Irish Pub is as beautiful a tribute to Ireland as you can imagine. The signature colors of the county bathe the walls and the polished wood of the building's original bar make you feel as though you are on the Emerald Isle itself. There is a real comfort and familiarity here that beckons you in to gulp down a thirst-quenching Guinness beer, Irish whiskey or maybe even one of Cork's humble "Paddy's". When eating inside, diners are treated to a breath-taking view of the glistening cove, but the best seat in the house is on the outside terrace, under the night sky.

Offering up a full service bar of everything from frothy beers and malts to finer wines and whiskeys, County Cork serves their brew up in 20 ounce frothy glasses, not your usual 16 ounce ones. You can choose from a delicious menu of specialty items, including one of County Cork's very own hand cut fries with their one-of-a-kind curry sauce or a "Bacon Buddy" (a BLT, made with Irish bacon, of course!) Soon, Cora will be adding little necks and steamers to the menu - and best of all, will be serving up breakfst. That's right, starting at 8:30am in mid-June, you will be treated to a freshly made breakfast, right here with Cora.

The live entertainment at this pub is first-rate, especially if you love the rich Gaelic music of Cora's homeland. Every Sunday night from 5:00 - 9:00 is "Irish Night" where local Irish musicians come to jam. Come hear such favorite bands as "Erin's Guild" and "Amadans". Bring your tin whistle and fiddle and join the revelry!

County Cork Irish Pub is located at 50 Waterfront Drive near Greenwich Bay Marina. For questions or directions, call 732-2675. They are open seven days a week, 12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m.
