This letter is in response to Mr. Johnson’s personally rotten, pathetic, cowardly and vindictive (no surprise here), letter to the Beacon (11/22/16). It was directed against me, the hard-working, distinguished, decent, honorable and caring Warwick School Committee members, the School Department and administrators. Such a disgusting letter deserves a responsible retort.
It appears that Mr. Johnson can’t stand or tolerate the truth that he has twice lost being elected to the Warwick School Committee. He has lost against vastly superior, intelligent, qualified, respectful and honest candidates. His mentor, the egotistical bully Ladouceur, also lost his election to become president of the Warwick City Council. He lost to the highly respected, educated and qualified Honorable Councilman Joseph Solomon, who will lead the council with extraordinary ability and common sense.
Mr. Johnson, we won, you lost, get over it. If losing elections makes you such a hateful, despondent and bitter crybaby, then you should take your placard, along with Mr. Ladouceur, and parade in front of City Hall and the Warwick School Administration Building. Please keep on the sidewalks.
I wasn’t going to respond to the “Cowardly attack of Ladouceur” letter from Dean Johnson. However, after 37 calls, emails and conversations urging me to do so, I changed my mind. His letter was beyond the pale and an insult to the entire School Department. Eugene A. Nadeau

You are a bitter, spiteful man. I look forward to seeing you lose by a landslide in 2018.
I hardly believe 37 people contacted you in support. Why do you ignore the hundreds, if not thousands who contact you expressing outrage over your ignorant behavior and ridiculous comments?
For such an old man, you are incredibly childish.
Keep it up! It is going to be so awesome to see you lose in 2018! And don't think that the public will forget your deplorable behavior these past few years. You have a history of only being a responsible, respectful committee member in an election year. I will continuously remind them of your ignorance these past few years.
You have suggested that you hope a concerned parent gets a good price for her house, that you must stay in education to protect the children of a parent who has contacted you asking for your resignation, and don't forget your excellent advice to not vote for you in the next election.
Grow up Gene. I get that this may be the only power you have in your life but you are ruining our schools and destroying the education of the students of Warwick. The census indicates that there are the same amount of children between 5 & 18 in Warwick as there were in 2005. However 3000 are educated outside our system. I am certain that is because of your idiotic decisions! Ask yourself why are people paying to educate their children if you have done such a bang up job in your time on the board.
Anyway, enjoy your tirades. It will be fun to see you lose by a landslide.

Reality
Mr. Nadeau you tell it like it is. You and other members of the school committee have tried to address the school population issue and make the necessary cuts however you get nothing but verbal abuse of the Wilkinson and the backus cult.
No Gene 18 is the same person who objected to the former school chairman speaking at a school consolidation hearing. Mr. Johnson screams at people and tells them to shut up at public hearings. ....Impressive..... These are the people you are dealing with.
Backus hasn't seen a union contract she doesn't like. Mr Ladosceur has done nothing to address the fire dept overtime issue while on the city council but he has all the answers for the school committee.
Ask the Wilkinson cult members how are we going to pay for all the things they want done. You'll be waiting for a long time.....they don't have a clue.

I like you. I always have. We have had many mutually respectful conversations.
But you have got to stop attacking people who disagree with you. Let's face it. You blew it on the Mario Atoyan tragedy and then did everything in your power to sweep it under the rug per the Ragosta Report that you fought to keep from the public that is ultimately paying the price. That was wrong Gene. You should take accountability and responsibility for that.
You have since written many scalding, belittling comments that do you no benefit. While you are spending that time on name-calling, the big issue of the teachers contract has been completely ignored.
Gene, isn't this why you are ON THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE??
Please get to work. Schedule an appointment with the Warwick Teachers Union and if that fails, schedule another one!
They are willing to sit with you. Furtado walked out on the last one. Did you support her action? Why don'r you show that you actually care about the students and schedule the next one! I will applaud you for it and others will too.

You exemplify the word ignorance when you make statements about Mr. Nadeau that "he" is ruining the schools and destroying the education. Let me enlighten you FedUp (or should I call you "Warwick Teacher") that the Warwick schools and education were ruined more than 2 decades ago. The level of education continues to go in a downward spiral, with the integrity of the buildings, while the teachers pay and benefits continue to go up and up. If teachers pay was commensurate with the education quality, a large percentage of teachers in Warwick would be in the bread line. Face it, education quality in the Warwick schools sucks,and it has nothing to do with Mr. Nadeau. Look in the mirror, learn some basic math, and figure out how to read a balance sheet. Then go discuss the outrageous pay and benefits that are being doled out in this city which is the reason you have crappy school buildings and grounds, no computers, and incompetent people.
As far as I can see, he is the only person on the school committee that doesn't have an agenda, is not looking for healthcare, not looking to give a family member a job, not looking for a union endorsement, not trying to protect criminal teachers that live in a house filled with stolen goods.
Unlike other members on the committee who would sell their mothers reproductive organs for a vote, Mr. Nadeau cannot be bought off. Unlike the 3 members of the committee that refused to order GPS in all vehicles knowing that the publicly noted theft is still ongoing, they offered bogus reasons to rescind GPS stating that it was an invasion of privacy and a civil rights issue. What did Bachus and Medieros get for that? Votes from the maintenance thief's.
To Mr. Corrente, since you have no dog in the fight other than to again placate to any special interest group that you possibly can, without being able to offer any reasonable solution based on fact and finances, I would suggest that you concentrate on paying your back taxes, make a plan to end living as a squatter in Warwick, and bring some integrity to your arguments. Start by performing some research and having some fact and documents in your hands before running your mouth.

Since the head ventriloquist doll @thatguyinri of Thortons puppets show asked me to say a few words on the incompetent school administration and committee. As everyone knows 4 girls were inappropriately touched by another student at Norwood, Mr. Nadeau was contacted as well as the administration and they all sat on there hands and let it happen 2 in one month and 2 in the next, but that's okay because it wasn't your kids. Well Mr. Nadeau did absolutely nothing and has done nothing since being elected. He does have an agenda he wants music in the schools and he has also said in his campaigning wants a state of the art field for the schools to play sports. How about you build new schools and stop putting lip.stick on a pig by pretending to fix the old subpar buildings that exist. It's time for a new school committee who is in touch with reality and does what's best for the STUDENTS. No gene 18
