The Cowesett neighborhood got hit hard last night with vehicle break-ins. Thirty-three incidents were reported this morning, according to Warwick Police. It is very likely even more went unreported. One neighbor reported hearing a car alarm go off at about 2 a.m. It is obvious the suspects likely had wheels, considering the number of vehicles involved and the various locations, police said. Police said a video from a neighbor, which they are hoping to release today or Wednesday, shows three suspects.
The streets involved were: Edmond Drive, Arrowhead Drive, Cowesett Road, Cowesett Hills Apartments, Windemere Way, Crestwood Drive, Dexterdale Drive, Sandro Circle, Creston Way, Birkshire Drive, Stubtoe Drive, and Pasco Circle.
Police advise residents to lock your doors and hide any and all items from view or the vehicle. Videos collected show the suspects look into the vehicles first, usually with flashlights, before even bothering to enter.
If you hear or see anything, don’t hesitate to notify police.

For the love of G_d people....do not leave valuables in your car where thieves can easily spot them. Lock your cars, put your wallets and electronics in your house, and don't leave change or money in a console. You've been warned about this for at least ten years now. Little sympathy for you.
