Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 Cox Communications Scholarship program. Cox will award $38,000 to 19 high school seniors who excel academically, demonstrate strong community involvement and are interested in pursuing a degree in communications, engineering, telecommunications or technology. Each scholarship awarded is for $2,000.
High school seniors can get a Cox Scholarship application from their guidance counselor or by contacting Rosie Fernandez, community relations manager, via e-mail at Rosie.Fernandez@cox.com.
Completed applications must be received electronically by Friday, March 6. A selection committee will review the applications and 19 students in Connecticut, Ohio and Rhode Island will be selected.
