Dolores A. (Lizotte) Plante, age 96, of Narragansett Parkway, Warwick, and a resident of St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield for the last two years, died on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Frederick R. Plante.

Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Edouard and Lumina (Lefebvre) Lizotte, she lived in the Edgewood section of Cranston before moving to Warwick in 1972. Mrs. Plante had served as a volunteer in the Communications Office of the Diocese of Providence. She had been a member of the West Bay Civic Chorale and the choir of St. Peter Church in Warwick.

She was the mother of Frederick E. Plante of Edgewood, New Mexico, Monique P. Rameaka of Shelburne, Vermont, the Rev. Msgr. Jacques L. Plante, Administrator of St. Mary Church, Broadway, Providence, and the late Marc E. Plante. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edgar, Albert, Frederick, and Lucien Lizotte, Doris Plante, and Colette Dans.

A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, July 20, in St. Mary Church, 538 Broadway, Providence. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, at 11 a.m. in Precious Blood Cemetery, Woonsocket.
