Donald H. Fairley, 95, passed away at Brentwood Nursing Home on Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was the husband of the late Ella L. (Waterman) Fairley.

Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late David and Eliza (Hartshorne) Fairley. Mr. Fairley was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific. He retired in 1973 as a Captain from the Quonset Point Naval Air Station fire department. He was a member of the Apponaug Volunteer Fire Department since 1946, a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and a member of the V.F.W. Kelley-Gazzerro Post 2812.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Kilene and her husband, Dennis, of Warwick; a grandson, David Kilene and his wife, Jessica Leonard, of Warwick; and his companion Margaret L. Petrarca of Warwick. He was the brother of the late Christina E. Coupe.

Relatives and friends were invited to Visitation on Friday, December 18, followed by a Funeral Service in the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
