Doreen Shoesmith, 71, of St. Cloud, Florida, passed away on July 12, 2016.
She was born in Providence, RI on June 14, 1945, to the late Hoarold W. & Doris V. (Groves) Shoesmith. Doreen retired from Bulova Watch and Ann & Hopoe. She worked for Knoffer & Moog before moving to Florida in 1989. She managed several convenience stores in Florida before retiring due to illness in 1993.
She leaves sisters Bette Clem of Monett, MO, Mary Ann Howard & Murial Cambio of Warwick, brothers Kenneth Shoesmith of East Providence, Wayne Shoesmith of Warwick and Milton Shoesmith of Providence. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, David Shoesmith and sisters Constance Moynihan and Karen Maciel. She was the favorite aunt to 13 nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, 2945 West Shore Rd, Warwick on Saturday, August 13th at 11 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
