Edward Francis Brisson of West Warwick and Boynton Beach Florida, passed away August 30, 2013. He was the husband of the late Helen A. (Gannon) Brisson.
He was the son of the late Omer and Julianna (Plante) Brisson. Mr. Brisson was the owner of Brisson Claim Service and worked for Chubb Insurance Group and the State of R.I., in the Jury Commissioners Office. An avid sports fan, he played minor league baseball and was an avid Yankee fan. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post, Atlanta Claim Service Assoc., Rhode Island Claims Assoc., and Connecticut Claims Assoc.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Brisson, Steve, Kenneth and Richard Uth; grandchildren Marissa, Lindsey, and Olivia Brisson, Ricky, Dawn, Alicia, Tina, Gerry, Ricky, Tracy and Jesse Uth; sisters Marie Crisostome, Jeanette Renza, Rita Mitchell, Christine Stephenson, Liliann Anastasia and the late Omer, Raymond, Eugene, Donald, and Avila Brisson, Loretta Haigh, Alice La Pierre and Florence Murphy. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
His funeral was held September 2, 2013 from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd, Warwick.
