Former Bishop Hendricken basketball standout Julian Mardenli earned first-team All-New England honors this season at Hyde School in Woodstock, Conn.
Mardenli, a 2012 Hendricken grad, is doing a post-graduate year at Hyde. He averaged 13 points per game while shooting 42 percent from the field and hitting on 41 percent of his three-point attempts. He had a streak of 12 straight double-digit scoring performances, scoring 20 or more in six of those. His season-high was 31 points.
