The Warwick Firefighters U14 girls’ team had some March Madness of their own this past weekend, winning their division at the Wide World of Indoor Sports.
The team played their way into the finals with 3-0 and 1-0 wins, and then upset previously unbeaten Coventry in the finals.
Goals by Lauren vanNostrand and Madison Nicynski sealed the 2-1 victory and the league title.
