To the Editor:
I was quite surprised by the theatre review regarding the play “To Kill a Mockingbird” performed by Trinity Repertory. Mr. Fowler believes whether you like or dislike the unique presentation of the play is about your personal tastes in which I agree, however, I soundly disagree that the play should only be done “when racial discrimination and injustice is still with us.” Mr. Fowler’s comment begs the question has he been listening to the news and reading the Providence Journal’s recent excellent reporting on race in Rhode Island?
