Frances M. (Sullivan) Gallucci, 69, died April 13, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Center after an illness.
Frances was employed for the State Fire Marshal’s office in North Kingstown and was owner of the former Amelia’s Something Elegant in Garden City. She was office manager for former Mayor Joseph W. Walsh, training coordinator for the Red Cross and a real estate broker. She was a founding member of the Board of Directors at the Elizabeth Buffum Chace House. Frances was active in the Democratic Party and Warwick politics.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Agnes (Keller) Sullivan. Frances lived for her grandchildren and was very involved with their activities. Her family was the most important part of her life. An animal lover, she rescued many animals. She will be remembered for her compassion, kindness and having a big heart.
She was the devoted mother of Barbara J. Budlong and Kevin E. Budlong; beloved sister of Dorothy Flamand and Edwin Sullivan Jr.; devoted grandmother of Brandon and Deven Budlong; and loving aunt to her five favorite nieces.
Her funeral will be held April 19 at 9:30 a.m. from Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church, Long Street at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours are April 18 from 4-8 p.m.
