Frederick F. Angell

Frederick F. Angell, 82, of Warwick passed away on April 6, 2014 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Myrna A. (Amore) Angell.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frederick A. and Hilda (Alderton) Angell. Mr. Angell was a Detective Sergeant with the Warwick Police Department until his retirement and was the former owner of Angell’s Marina in Warwick. He served with The United States Coast Guard in Port Security during the Korean War.

He was the loving father of Mark F. Angell, David M. Angell and Lynne A. Duffney, all of Warwick. The caring brother of Hilda McNanley of Westport, Massachusetts and cherished grandfather of five. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 9:00-10:15 a.m. in The Prata-Murphy Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial, with military honors, will take place in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
