Gerald “Jerry” R. Kane, 72, of Warwick died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at home. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth M. Clarke.
Born in Washington, DC, Jerry was a son of the late Charles F. and Mildred A. (Webster) Kane. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Jerry was the owner of Just Dan’s Convenience Store in Warwick for ten years, until retiring due to illness.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by a son, Robert A. Kane of Florida, a daughter: Cindy M. Stokes of Mississippi; two brothers: Charles F. Kane, Jr. of Ohio and Ronald Kane of Florida, a sister, Beverly Neal of Florida; six grandchildren: Andrew, Kevin, Katelyn, Chrissy, Jessica and Tyler; and three great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Burial will be private.
