Giana Izzi and Joseph McAuley were united in marriage July 19, 2014 by Father John LaPointe at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Johnston. Tom Roy was the organist. A reception followed at the West Valley Inn, West Warwick.
The bride is the daughter of David and Janice Izzi of Cranston. She is a graduate of Cranston High School West and Rhode Island College. She is an elementary school teacher for Cranston Public Schools.
The groom is the son of Paul and Zita McAuley of Cranston. He is a graduate of Cranston High School East and Rhode Island College. He is a firefighter with the West Warwick Fire Department.
The bride’s dress was all white with some appliqués on the bodice and skirt. It had a tulle ballroom skirt and corset back. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas and roses in ivory and shades of purple.
Alison Vallese was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany McCall, cousin of the bride, Ashley McAuley, sister of the groom, and Melinda Rostron.
Raymond Penza was best man. Groomsmen were Frank Taraborelli, Matt McAuley, cousin of the groom, and Michael Penza.
The couple resides in Cranston.
