More than 100 enthusiasts of beer and guns, or simply curious about what’s behind the walls of the Varnum Armory at the foot of Division Street in East Greenwich, turned out Saturday for the fifth annual beer tasting fundraiser for the Varnum Continentals. Visitors got to enjoy snacks, taste a wide selection of artisan beers and view the armory’s extensive collection of armaments, many with fascinating connections to the American Revolution.(Warwick Beacon photos)
