Hair Cuttery salons throughout New England, including the salon in Warwick, will pay tribute to the victims and families affected by the Boston Marathon bombings with a fundraiser to benefit The One Fund Boston. From April 14-21, one percent of the proceeds from all haircuts up to a total of $10,000 purchased at any of the 50 Hair Cuttery salons throughout New England will benefit the fund.
“As the city of Boston prepares for the 118th running of the Boston Marathon, we at Hair Cuttery want to take a moment to pay tribute to the victims and families affected by last year’s Boston Marathon bombings,” said Dennis Ratner, founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery. “The courage and tenacity exhibited by these individuals has been truly inspiring. Hosting a fundraiser for The One Fund Boston is our way of showing our continued support and proving once again that we are all Boston Strong.”
Hair Cuttery has an established legacy of charitable giving. The company supports a number of national and local causes, including: Dress for Success, American Cancer Society, Special Olympics, Buzzing 4 Change, National Kidney Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Locks of Love.
