The Halloween Collage Concert at Rhode Island College will feature a wide range of performances by RIC students and faculty Friday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. in the Nazarian Center’s Sapinsley Hall.
In the spirit of Halloween, performers and audience members are encouraged to wear costumes and the $10 admission fee will be waived for audience members in Halloween garb.
More than 14 specially chosen musical selections will be performed, ranging from the works of Claude Debussy and Felix Mendelssohn to Marvin Gaye and The Eagles.
Performers include the Henry Barnard School Chorus, RIC Brass Quintet, RIC Flute Trio, RIC Saxinet Ensemble, the RIC Spooky Women’s Chorale, and the RIC Guitar Ensemble.
Denise Guilbault, associate professor of music, is in charge of the show. She oversees the music education program at RIC, both undergraduate and graduate, and is the faculty advisor for the RIC collegiate chapter of the Music Educators National Conference, which is producing the Halloween concert.
General admission is $10, but free for those who attend in costume. Tickets are available by contacting the RIC box office at 456-8144. For more information, contact Guilbault at 456-9517 or email@example.com.
