Tom McMahon was Hendricken’s top individual performer, finishing 10th in the two-mile run. Dom Parlato (17th) and Mike Kiernan (19th) weren’t far behind McMahon in the two mile, as the Hawks posted three runners in the top-20.

Ingegneri was the only other Hawks’ runner to place, earning 14th in the 1,000.

Pats, Titans perform well

Toll Gate’s Ani Armenakyan posted the highest finish of the girls that qualified for New Englands in Warwick. After a second-place finish at states in the shot put, Armenakyan took seventh at New Englands on Saturday with a toss of 37 feet, 6.25 inches.

The Titans’ 4x800 relay team of Samantha Pistacchio, Sophia Maynard, Madison Gothberg and Sarah Lavallee crossed the finish line in 10 minutes, 28.69 seconds – good for 21st.

As for the Pats, they were paced by an eighth-place finish in the long jump from Kadya Phillip. Danika Wayss also had a great day for Pilgrim, taking 11th in the mile run.

The only other event that Pilgrim placed in was the 4x200 relay, as its quartet of seniors – Phillip, Nicole Morales, Madison Stanley and Emma Landroche – took 12th in a time of one minute, 46.83 seconds.
